On the Snow

Chi mi conosce sa del mio rapporto un po' conflittuale con la montagna, ebbene la mia dolce metà (che vedete qui in foto) è riuscita nell'arduo compito di farmi appassionare a questa! Durante queste vacanze ci siamo dilettati con un paio di escursioni di sci alpinismo, e devo dire che questo sport è veramente intrigante! Devo dire che siamo anche stati fortunati... ha nevicato copiosamente e muoversi nei boschi con uno scenario simile era davvero da favola!

I'm never been a "mountain man", when i was a child i spent a lot of time doing trekking on the apls with my parents, but i have to say i have never liked that part of my holidays very much. The sea was my true passion, as it is now. Recently my girlfriend, and future wife, Roberta; convinced me to try cross country skiing. I have to say this sport has surprised me very much. For me it's a new way to enjoy the mountains and to be a part of the environment, a bit like sea kayaking ;-).
